The English Bay Swim Club is Vancouver's LGBTQ masters swim team. We are all-inclusive, welcoming LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly swimmers into the pool since 1982. EBSC encourages Trans* and Gender-Variant swimmers to come join us. With more than 130 active members, we are the largest Masters swim club in British Columbia and we are once again the Provincial Champions! Whether swimming for fitness or competition, we always have fun!
"..is to promote and support participation in swimming amongst members of the LGBTQ community and our friends, and to uphold the Masters philosophy of fun, friendship and fitness for life, in an environment that is safe, positive and socially active."

English Bay Swim Club wins both the League Trophy (Large Team category) and the Provincial Champions Trophy this year!
EBSC swimmers took home the most points, squeaking past Victoria Masters by a narrow margin at the Provincials over the weekend to claim the Provincial Champions Trophy. This will go along nicely with the League Trophy we captured at the end of the swim meet season.
Top 4 teams at Provincials:
- English Bay Swim Club 2633 pts
- Victoria Masters Swim Club 2615 pts
- North Shore Masters 2571 pts
- Winskill Otters 2474 pts
